This years 2026 Phantom National Championships, takes place at Tenby SC (Pembrokeshire).
Date: Thursday 3rd to Sunday 6th September 2026
Format: 10 races, with 8 to count.
Location: Tenby S.C, SA70 7BW / What 3 Words: ///blotches.mashing.truckload
The Event Entry Fee: £200
Late entry Fee: £235 from 1st August 2026
Entry Fee includes:
Pasty & Pint after sailing on Thur, Fri & Sat
Championship Dinner (curry & dessert) on Sat evening after the AGM
Provision of Jury Boat & Photographer
IMPORTANT:
Obviously, we're trying to make the club the social hub for us all, so please book meals for everyone.
We're also thinking of moving the daily prize giving from the time we did it last year (when the results were available soon after coming ashore) to later in the evening, just before the meal. This will give people camping time to go back to their site to change, rest, have pre-dinner drinks, etc., before coming back for the meal and evening social.
There were some comments last year that people had to wait around in wetsuits before the daily prize giving, before they could head back to their campsite or accommodation. Tenby has a great clubhouse and puts on a great meal, with a bar overlooking the harbour — so it should be a great place for us all to get together as the main social hub.
Other stuff:
Food (chargeable)
will be available on Wed evening (BBQ), Thur (Pig Roast) & Fri (BBQ)
Breakfast roll & hot drink available each morning (Thur-Sun)
Sandwiches available after prize giving on Sunday
Additional tickets can be purchased for the Championship dinner
These will need to be indicated on your entry form & paid for at the club (we just need to give the club an indication of numbers)
*** CAMPING ***
There are a number of places to stay in the area. So far most have leant towards booking their stay at Meadow Farm Campsite (Tenby).
With the club only a mile from this site we hope that campers will also remain at the club as the main hub for the social scene.
Parking and places to stay
There are Pay and Display car parks in Tenby - a short walk to the club and boat park.
There is large choice of B+B, Airbnb and hotel accommodation in Tenby together with camping sites nearby. Please web search accommodation in the local area to the club - AND BOOK EARLY.
