Welcome to the website of the UK's premier single handed racing dinghy. Fast, dynamic, energetic and brilliant - Phantom. Get one or it will haunt you forever!

The first Phantom Midland traveler for 2011 sponsored by Peak Dinghy saw a small fleet of Phantoms gather at Carsington Water on the 23rd April.  The competitors were greeted with bright sunshine and warm conditions but no wind.  The weather lead to a postponement to the first race, and at 1pm the competitors voted to go out and try and run a race.

At 1 pm there was a slight breeze of 1-2mph and race one got away.  In some difficult conditions Ed Thomas crossed the line in first after only completing the triangle of the Olympic course.  He was followed by Andrew Wilde and Ben Crossdale.

Race two started in slightly more wind, which filled in on the left hand side of the course.  Ed Thomas lead from the start but on the final run was put under pressure but managed to take the victory.  Due to the wind nobody was keen to sail the last race.
