HI Mr Roberts
looking at past National champs in the information section 1973 shows John Freemantle in boat 98.  I was chatting to a Richard Filer and he says John and a couple of others built 3 boats in John Freemantle workshop ( Titchfield I think) which is where he also made coffins and the event was at Hillhead SC.
As one of those old enough to likely have been there can you confirm this?
Merry Christmas

Hi
Thought I would do some more checking on my facts about this.
I got this second hand from Alan Freemantle.
We built 5 Phantoms. Graham Caulfield and Tony Kiff also had one. We build all 5, put a number in each and drew lots. I got Saul number 100, can’t remember the others.
Regards
Alan
Still waiting for confirmation about the nationals club.
Regards
Gordon
