Phantom Scottish @ East Lothian Yacht Club 1/2 June
« on: April 30, 2013, 02:37:10 PM »

Online registration is open at www.elyc.org.uk - under 'Regatta 2013'.

There is a 140 boat limit for this event (multi-class - although wouldn't it be great to get 140 Phantoms racing in Scotland!!).

Let me know if you need any help/assistance.

Hope to see you on one of the best stretches of water to race on in the UK.

First of all, many thanks to Titch for running a 'warm-up' training session on the Friday before racing.

Now - we have 9 boats entered - a lot of returning faces from 2012 (warm welcome back to the Island Barn boys!) - so, with a week and a bit to go and the summer finally arriving, who wants to join us at the premier dinghy event in Scotland?

The 'locals' are happy to help re accomodation etc.

Thanks Titch - for running an excellent training day and measuring a couple of boats. Now set fair for what should be an excellent weekend. Looking like 10 boats will compete.

Thanks to all the Scottish Phantoms for a very warm welcome, fantastic venue, great winds on Saturday, interesting winds on Sunday. Its an event everyone should do at least once in your life.

Cheers Titch! It was great to have you, James, and Alex join in with (the less than) 'Magnificent Seven'.  ;D

All the best for the Inlands - you are Scottish Champion after all!
