Phantoms at Scottish Champion of Champions
« on: October 22, 2012, 08:32:18 PM »

This years 50th Champion of Champions (Scottish equivalent of Endeavour Trophy)took place this weekend at ELYC.The event is sailed by the top sailors of their class, sailing their own boats, usually over two days. There were 35 entries ranging from Optimists to Foiling moths and somewhere in between for the first time three Phantoms.Unfortunately the weather forecast was for light winds which did not allow for any sailing on Sunday, four races were sailed on Saturday and all Phantoms put in a good performance with D.Maclean 1275 finishing 6th overall .The winner was a Wayfarer sailed by McNamara/Owen more info on Yachts & Yachting or ELYC home page. Well done Donald
