Hi,

  Just wondering how and who sorts out where all the open meetings nationals etc are going to be, is there an open meeting lottery machine that churns out numbers, interested how it all happens and who makes the decisions?

I think it is done on a regional basis in the souths case by Simon Hawkes in conjunction with Maxi.
Nationals at present speak to Titch.

Try the information/contacts page at the 2nd drop-down on the HomePage (above?), http://www.phantomclass.org.uk/site/index.php/information/class-contacts and from 4-to-7 you'll find the regional reps, as well as all the other Class contacts.
It's a matter of marrying bids with perceived wishes and starts to happen around the end-of-year ready for the dinghy-show.
For example also, earlier this year a general call went out asking for suggestions for champs, winters, inlands etc for the next 3-or-4 years.
