Open Meeting Island Barn Reservoir 2012

I'm looking at organising a Phantom Open at Island Barn Reservoir SC and would like to canvas numbers and preferred dates. I'm in talks with the Commodore elect who is very supportive. He says that a Saturday in June would be best option but if thats no good then possibly in May though they do have a couple of other events booked that month.

The club is in Ray Road, East Molesey, Surrey about a mile from Hampton Court Palace. Being a Reservoir its high up so good clear wind...........

The Phantom fleet is getting itself established with 5 regulars at the moment and enquiries from 2 others........My boats being borrowed this weekend by 2 separate guys who are looking to move up from the Lasers and a well attended Open Meeting would definitely put us on the map.........So who fancies it???? :o

Hey Nick ...  would hope you would get good support from Frensham ...  we should be able to get 2-4 depending on commitment clashes  .....  perhaps even 5 or 6 .... If you renew your Frensham membership, we could claim one more ;)

I have just asked Coastbuster about the 15/16 June for Lee on Solent so please avoid that as we are looking at the same people probably.

Nick,
have you moved the date of your open yet? I haven't included the original date of the event in March on the events list because of this posting. Any ideas when you might know? If I don't get the dates in the missus's diary she'll having me roaming around Ikea or something before I know it.
