Hi All

Planning to pick up ship on the 25th from P&B then come to Creeksea for open, please can someone let me know where a good place to stay is? Also can you sail from Creeksea with fixed rudder? Actually where is Creeksea?!

Thank you

Fixed rudder is possible, just don't go ner the edges :-[

Please take a look at the website for location but it's basically Burnham on Crouch.

http://www.creeksea.org.uk/

A fixed rudder is okay but care is needed if cheating the tide inshore - my tip is always make sure your board is down as deep as your rudder - to act as a "trip wire".

Camping is available at the club and we will be organising a  taxi back from town.

Saturday night "social" will start at The Ship in Burnham (where James Jarvey is known by some very choice words) with a meal and get messy from there on I expect.

I'll put more details up shortly.

Chris.

Thanks Chris and John

Unfortunately I have just been informed that surprise surprise the boat has not been made yet so it would be a miracle to sail at Creeksea! Hopefully it will be ready for Weymouth!

Have a great event and maybe next year!
