Hi Chaps,
Northern Championships to be held at Delph sailing club near Bolton on the 2nd / 3rd June 2007. (see NOR on front page of main site).
5 races (2 sat - 3 sun) with start times that will allow you to get there in a timely fashion and away on the Sunday fairly early. Food will be available throughout the weekend and depending on weather we may have a Bar B Q on the Sat night (open to family / friends) or some other kind of feeding frenzy will be organised. Some camping is available next to the club house and plenty of room for campers in the car park (no dogs sorry). There may be some floor space available too if we can wangle it with the club.
Only 2 hrs from the Midlands and easy to get to from M62 / M61 / M6 (see club website for directions or email me at joolsabel@aol.com.
Come and have a laugh. Watch the RS300 sailors and Phantom wannabe's at the club try to keep up with the drinking and watch them try to climb the club flag pole. Come and see Peterina Gribbin fall asleep on the bench outside and be eaten by the local wildlife. Come and give P***weight's Clowie and newbie Phil Worth a good tonking cos we can't!
It would be great to see you all if you can make it - you will certainly be made welcome - and not a flat cap in sight!
