Details of the event are as follows, I'm sorry it's a bit stilted but I've cribbed it from the Notice of Race which is on our website at www.havershamsc.co.uk

Phantom Open Meeting and Travellers Series Event organised by HAVERSHAM SAILING CLUB at Haversham Lake, Milton Keynes, on 31st March 2007 - if you have sat nav the postcode is MK19 7DX

Entries will be accepted on the morning of the event from 09.30hrs, along with dosh to the value of £8. Bacon butties and mugs of tea will be available whilst you sign your life away.....

Four races are scheduled for the event with three to count; two fifty minutes races back to back before lunch and two after lunch. 1st Race start    11.00hrs       2nd Race start   12.10hrs        3rd Race start   14.00hrs    4th Race start 15.10hrs The scheduled time of the warning signal for the first race is 10.55. A competitor’s briefing will be held in front of the club balcony at 10.30.

There will be prize vouchers awarded for 1st – 3rd places, first boat older than sail number 1100  , the first finisher over 50 years and farthest traveller.

Twelve boats showed up, but one stayed on the bank.

Andy E maust be going through a crisis, he turned up with a girl instead of a boat!

The Northampton posse of Nick and Will came first and second but many other commendable performances.

Typical Haversham early season conditions, lots of wind, capsizes and broken bits and only four boats for the final race! I'll let the people who suffered tell their stories.

Thanks to everybody that came, it was very entertaining from the shore.
