A big thank you to everyone who organised, supported or helped run this years nationals to all @ LRSC thank you for a truely spectacular event.

Well I'd like to especially thank the rescue boat crew(s). I wouldn't have wanted to be on the committee  boat on Saturday either!!

Brilliant event, was totally humbled by the sea yesterday but still grinning. Lyme was an awesome venue.

What an ace place Lyme SC was, from the OD to the galley service, they all did a brilliant job and made you feel really welcome - and all in a picturesque seeting.

Titch, his bird and the other stalwarts had clearly put in alot of work too.  Thanks guys.

Need to brush up on my capsize techniques though if I'm going to do better next time (and apologies to the rescue guy that fell out of his RIB while helping me), although I now know what the rear toestraps are for!

I had a good time too! I've not particularly enjoyed work today and still really regret not finishing race 3.  Could I have done it?

Damage report: sail with four holes, shattered top batten, knee-size hole in floor of hull just by the bulkhead....

I think I need a new sail.

Won't get to Minnis - its my wedding anniversary weekend! but hope to get to one more event this year, once were patched up.

Fully agree, great event and very well organised as ever by our super committee & Lyme
Hopefully get back there soon for more of those fantastic waves (&very helpful rescue crew who helped me tie my sail back up!)

Hi All
I must agree with the other comments brilliant weekend all round.
Dropped into Ashdown Marine on the way back yesterday, sent claim into craftinsure later that day, sent pictures and quote from Ashdown in this morning and now repairs approved.
So back on the water soon.
