The Shustoke Gauntlet is a single day two 80 minute pursuit race event for non trapeze boats in the PY range of 1385 (Mirror) to 990 (Merlin) based on the PY ratings as they currently stand. We started running the race in 1999 as a beginning of the season warm up for midlands clubs and have been running it ever since. The first race at 11.30. I expect min 4 Phantoms from the home club with a range of capabilities, so if you fancy a days sailing against a mixed big fleet where we will be the quicker boat then please come and join us.
Lunch available from our great galley, and have a local real ale from the bar afterwards.
