Complete cock up, my kids don't break up for the holidays until half way through the week. I wish the organisers would look at things like this...! Therefore not coming this year...!

Hi Olly,

I'm definitely coming - I think there'll be at least one other Phantom from LLSC there for the week too.

Cheers

Olly

Do you know if they do weekend entries or part weeks?

Olly.  There's one boat from crosby entering.   I'll check how many boats are entered when I'm there next weekend for you.

Ok you experienced "Abrsochers" I need some advice.... ;)

I have booked into the local? campsite Tyn-Mur, which seems to be 1 1/4 miles by country lane to the club? :-[

Whats the normal routine for Phantoms as I am a Virgin, what time do we start, do we have to really carry the anchour and yards of string, can we leave sailing kit at the club to dry, as I have no transport from Camp site to club, is it a bike ride or too hilly to make it worth while?

Where do you normally eat for the evening?

Any logistics advice would be very helpfull.

You are welcome to the Sundance Bar for a beer, guess we should plan to do at least one evening.... ;)

Thanks Titch :-*

Hi Titch,

I'm afraid I'm a newbie to Abersoch week too - I'm staying in a farmhouse just up the road from your campsite.

Apparently  single-handers sail in the mornings and crewed boats in the afternoon. Our first race is on the Sunday at 11am - the website reckons each race will last 2 hours or so.

On the plus side, that leaves the afternoons free for socialising and sunbathing, on the downside it means getting up early!

Cheers
