An open invitation to all Phantom sailors to the Guy Fawkes Pursuit Race at Leigh and Lowton SC, near Manchester, on Sunday 4 November 2012. You have sailed all summer, so now is the time to test your skills against the rest!
This race marks the beginning of the winter sailing. The Optimist start is 12.40 hrs and the legendary (and great value) galley will be open from mid morning. There are 3-4 Phantoms sailed regularly at L&L and the winter series see that number double. I think there is some arrangement where you can leave your boat at L&L if you enter the winter series - which is really good value boat storage!! All the Phantoms are parked together so they are easy to find in the boat park.
