Save my money?
« on: January 31, 2011, 08:27:43 AM »

After my appauling show at the SN this weekend, I wonder whether to save my money by not entering the TT? When it comes to fighting for places with Radials and Solos, you've got to wonder what you're doing wrong.  Is my sailing really that bad? OK, rolling the boat on the last run of the last lap of the second race was a first-time error for me in this boat and that did not help but really!

Shall I stick to club sailing?

The simple answer is no. the best way to improve is to go to events and talk to other phantomers and pick up tips. Maybe the tt could be too big for this but at least go to phantom opens where things are a little smaller and where it is easier to talk. By going for the introverted approach will mean a lot slower learning curve possibly leading to more frustration
