There is, as no 2 boats may bear the same name, I dont believe it is available online but the last time I checked a new name out Roger Brown certainly had a list of all existing boat names.

I also have the list and can check any potential name conflicts. Maybe one day it will be on here but dont have time to do it at the mo!

As far as I am aware the records show Flan Flinger is fine but what about Phlan Phlinger?
