I'm in, although will sadly be driving back/forth to a comfy bed as it's so near home  ;)

Might be an idea to add the actual date to the thread so we know when all that shizzle is booked for  :o

In other news looks like I will be there.

Tent or 'Creeksea tin tent' hopefully can pitch either?

Hi Guys!
As Matt say, we have lots of Magners and spice rum. We have grass and facilities for camping, we have spaces for camper vans and even Windy's caravan and it's all free!!
We plan to try and get 6 races in over the two days, sailing is in West Water which is a good open expanse and a lovely place to sail.
Walton and Frinton is a very friendly small club and we are gearing up to make this a fun weekend.
We should have another four club boats out as well as those Matt mentions so it should be a reasonable turnout.
The cost of £25 includes a good BBQ on Saturday, club catering is good and reasonable, available all weekend.
You can turn up at the club anytime from Friday morning onwards, get here early enough and watch Matt moor up his yacht 'Biffo' in the yacht basin beside the club! Could be good spectator sport!
So, racing Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July. Come along and enjoy our friendly club and have a good weekends sailing (and a bit of creek crawling)

So - i'll be there anyhoo - but if I can convince the wife to pop over the water from D.court, how much is a ticket for the bbq only?

Hi Esexbloke, anyone who can walk across the waters of Dovercourt Bay for a BBQ can have it for £8!!
That actually applies to anyone else who isn't sailing too!
Just off to sail in the Felixstowe Regatta, will wave as we go through the bay.

Did anyone place the wind order for Sunday?  Saturday looks great, but Sunday's been in decline all week...  ;)

Big thanks to all guys & gals at Walton & Frinton YC for hosting the weekend's event.  Thoroughly enjoyed the sailing (in between being scared stiff yesterday lol)

Was good to meet more Phantom sailors and thanks again for all the trimming tips/advise - i'm working on the basis that if i'm swimming more - it means they're working!

Just out of interest - I didn't see the results but was I officially tail end charlie?

Looking forward the race report from Paul in due course.
