Minnis Bay Open - 20/21st September
« on: September 14, 2014, 06:40:35 PM »

It's that time of year again, when you lot have to pay the Dartford Crossing toll rather than me!

Weekend of 20-21 September is the Phantom Open at Minnis Bay Sailing Club.  Details can be found on the club website - http://minnisbaysailingclub.co.uk/

Arrive early to enjoy some fine ale, accommodation details can be found on the Minnis site.  Any questions let me know

I'm definitely going to be there on Sunday, Saturday is looking a bit difficult.

From the "East Coast Champ" thanks to the Minnis team, especially Mr n Mrs Morley, for running a great event, some really good waves to play on, great beer, excellent fish n chips etc etc.. ;) ;D 8)

+1 from me too: nice close tactical racing on the Saturday and wave surfing on the Sunday. Coupled with a great evening on Saturday, it doesn't get any better than this. Thanks all.

All at Minnis, thanks for a great weekend in varied conditions, apologies for not arriving on Friday to assist with the drink the barrel dry challenge, though it appeared you nearly managed without me  ;D. Conditions on Sunday made for some great sea sailing. Well done to Titch for winning the East Coast Champs. See  you all at the next one at Hickling in 3 weeks time.
