If you would like to go sailing on the first of May, with that blessed wedding out the way, then point your car towards the east, where fat men in hikers like to meet.

The eastern circuit is once again visiting Rollesby Broad Sailing Club for a one day open meeting. (Sunday 1st May 2011)

4 races, first at approx 10.45. Good food, good competition, good laugh. Last weekend the solo fleet got eleven to their open meeting and I told the club that we would definately have more - please help.

Oulton Ben has placed an additional post on the forum, as we have enough events to get in three days of sailing, at clubs various, and he appears to have kindly offered to host a camping festival in his back garden.

Sorry I cannot make this open as I am on holiday. I do hope to be back on the circuit later in the season though.

It would have been worth the drive to Norfolk, just to watch the team piggybacking!

Thanks to you and all at Rollesby for an interesting day yesterday it had a bit of everything, windy bits, soft bits and shifty bits all in the space of a couple of seconds (resulting in a lot of being wet bits.......)  It was however a really enjoyable day thanks a lot
