Nick,

Probably full but try the White Harte (Landlord John is a 707 sailor) http://www.whiteharteburnham.co.uk/

Or The Oyster Smack (very good grub!) http://www.smoothhound.co.uk/hotels/oystersmack.html

Other accomodation is available...

http://www.burnham.org.uk/accomodation.htm

There is a campsite at the Royal Corinthian and that's popular (as it's near the bar(s)....

If you get stuck let me know as we can always find a corner for you in chez Roberts.

You can't go wrong with staying at the Harte.  Its on the waterfront and in the centre of Burnham.

Its next door (near enough) the the Royal Burnham and only 100 yards or so from the Royal Corinth

Have fun

Yes, my only caveat would be don't raise your board more than your rudder is deep when running alongside a bank if cheating the tide

(and ask Simon Feilden about the wisdom of raising your board when trying to get off a muddy lee shore - I think he's got off now...)

Let's see some entries online then chaps - I'm doing mine next..

Okay, that was nice and easy.  Saves all the agro on the day etc.

Nice to see seven confirmed entries online and lot's more to come..

We must beat the Osprey entry this year - come on chaps this is your next fix of prime Phantom sailing before Minnis and Hickling!

Great Paul.

Just been chatting to Neil Fulcher who has invited everyone to his wedding anniversary party at Stone SC on Saturday night....marque, loud music, beer etc.etc.

I'll draft up a Social Calendar but it isn't really essential given the events that are planned....more a guide than a rule to quote Neil.

707 Nationals during Burnham Week - after East Coast Champs...

The 707 champs takes place on Thurs/Fri/Sat after our Eastern Champs and our boat Braveheart will be competing with Titch, Simon and Jez crewing.  If anyone else would like to crew on other boats please let me know.  Other "Phantom" 707's will include Neil Fulchers "Mutless" and I gather Mike Stone has also borrowed a boat "Aquaholic" (hic) and needs crew.   Look's like the keelboat of choice for us geriatics!

I may be also be able to source a free charter.....

Anyway, let me know if you fancy staying for the week and trying some 707 sailing.

I suspect theres plenty not on that list who will be there.. Windy? JJ? Matt House? Rod?  to name a few

Its also the Essex Dinghy Champs at Stone this weekend, so I suspect that discounts alot of the Stone massive.

We normally get 20+ for an Eastern Series event, so would be disappointing to fall below that number.

Chris.

Since I cannot fully crew Biffo I will be free to sail in a 707 if anybody wants me.
