Simon

Sorry, couldn't get to have a drink the other night. How does the land lie? On a practical matter, is there any chance of parking at the Club? If the phantom is a no go then will a gone be looking for crew/helm?

Thanks. Andrew

Hello Andrew
I will text you this evening re the boat the guy was still not sure if he was going away on Wednesday(due to the forecast) but he will let me know this evening.
Regarding parking if you get here early(10.00-11.00) you can park in the public car park near the club ,but it is expensive i think around 5.00 for the day but it fills quite quickly ,but you can park at the top of the hill in the other public car park for about a £1.00 all day and walk down,.

Cheers Simon, see you in the morning.

Is there still a 3 day ticket for £8 ish in the bottom carpark cos that is cheaper than buying separate tickets on each day like there used to be?

Yup thanks to Lyme and Simon for a great weekend! Even though we spent 80% of the weekend drifting it was nice place to bob around!

Excellent barbecue!

I'll add a big thanks to all the Lyme members and helpers - a lovely weekend - despite the dodgy breezes !

Its in the diary for next year.

Just a quick word of thanks to Simon for organising 1215 for me last weekend and special thanks to Simon Clark? the boat's owner, who was prepared to loan it to me without having met me or spoken to me!  How many classes would that happen in?

It is a pity the wind was not better but for someone like me who does not sail on the sea regularly, it was still nice to see 'the bigger picture'.  Shame my skills didn't do the boat justice.

Regards,

Andrew
