I'm replacing my kicker control line and have bought some Rooster "Easy Splice" for the task. Apart from hoping that it is as easy as it looks in the video (I suspect it might not be!) I had a couple of questions:
- I've measured the old line as 7m - does that sound about right?
- I'm keen to incorporate elastic to take up the slack on the kicker and mean it's always the easiest to grab. I've seen a photo which I think I understand. Does anyone have any experience of this, and any hints regarding length of elastic, kicker, and where to attach the elastic?
