Social things....well, a group of 11 Englishmen will be kicking a bit of inflated leather (well, plastic) around on Saturday night and I expect that a local hostelry will have a tele thingy....

See you all there......(apart from the Stone possy who are excused cos they are doing Race Officer etc. for the 505 fleet - who will be doing the same for us at the Nationals).  No other excuses accepted.....

Which reminds me -- for goodness sake can we please have some rubbish sailors join the class soon??  (okay, I know I'm already in the fleet etc.etc) -- I have a sneaky feeling that the "All Stars" are enjoying our futile efforts to nobble them!!??

On a serious note I promise to find out what time the first start is on Saturday....but I can see that high water is at 13:46 so I'd put evens on a start time at or after 12:00AM.

I posted the link to the Notice of Race and have only just read it...

This is what it says for those that haven't read it either!!

6.0. Race Programme and Courses:
6.1. The racing will take place as follows with intention of holding 6 races in total : -
·   Saturday 12th June:        First start 12.30
·   Sunday 13th June:        First start 10.30
6.2. There will be 1 discard if three or more sailed otherwise all races will count.
6.3. All races will be held in the Colne Estuary. Competitors should ensure they allow sufficient time to reach the race area which may be some distance from the launch area.
6.4. Each day’s races are scheduled to be sailed back-to-back.
6.5. A briefing will be held at approximately 11.00 on Saturday 12th June in the Clubhouse.
