Results are now published, first Phantom overall was 5th.

It looks like the heavy Saturday took its toll, Andrew got two firsts and a second in the lighter winds of Sunday.  Hopefully he will be along with the whole story.

Hi,

At Billy No Mates I can only say what happened from what I saw:

On Saturday started race in F5 and managed to get a good start, all was going well until the last gybe in the first race my tiller extension joint broke. This meant I had to retire, and didnt have a spare on shore so missed all three races.  I think a lot of people had a great time racing and others swimming.

On Sunday the wind was lighter F2- F3 with a windward leeward course, it was great racing with a good turnout of RS300's for the Phantoms to race.  Things went well for me until the last race when my Gooseneck broke and the end of the boom smashed to bits when it hit the deck at the last windward mark. I did however manage to sail down the run to the finish.

Congratulations to Richard Sims for finishing first Phantom and an RS300 for winning the event.
