I know we joke and mess about about them but it's a bit piss poor of them.
Maybe a more northern venue next year is the wrong idea. They won't come to us so why should we go to them?

I have just entered so that is two from North Berwick. Personally I am indeed scared of driving past Manchester, so think I'll just take the A1.

Your not from the North, in fact you cant get much further south from Scotland.
Still a chance I will make it work has now got very busy so can afford it but time is an issue now.

I can't say much as I haven't done a nationals yet, but I know this season on the Northern circuit the numbers haven't been great so there would only probably be a small handful anyway.  Next year it will be easier for me to attend so I will certainly be going to that and i know a couple of the other lads are intending the same.  I can see why it irritates people that some sailors don't make the effort and I also understand there is more variety of venues in the Southern region, I would travel 4/5 hours to do it, but this year is definitely out of the question for various reasons not just location, although that is a factor.  i hope you get a good turnout and a couple more Northereners enter.

You can add "Rodders" in his new boat and Graeme Dale Jones in his "slightly older" boat 927 - that is unless some kind sailor can lend him a semi-self drainer (JJ boat preferred).
