Hi Viv
Putting entries down with his bits.
The things you have to do! BEYOND THE PALE.
No body else would have done that.

Gents,

I note that there are no polyester boats entered.  Am I likely to be so far off the pace in 991 that there isn't much point going?  Especially as I'm new to the class and this is likely to be the only event I can make this year, so little or no practice against other Phantoms.

Neil, early days and I'm that there will be other poly's going. Anyway unless your intention is to win the event you are there for sailing on some of the best sea's in the country at a great friendly club with some of the best yotters in the social side of things and a chance to meet so many other like minded people.
The very first nats I did I never stood a chance in my overweight early poly boat with bad controls, naff sail, etc, but it was the best thing I ever did. I met so many others and gained a lot of useful information that it would have been a mistake to miss it in my opinion.
Come along you'll only regret it if you don't.

Neil.

I'm new to the class and this will be my first Phantom Nationals. I've done a couple of Open meetings and from what I've seen of The Phantom boys you'd be making a big mistake to miss the event of the year!

Dont worry about where you are on the water........i went to Sutton Bingham, sailed rubbish but still had a nice day......

Go on you know it makes sense.................

Following someone going on a bit of a spending spree in Thailand with my card details I have had to destroy my cheque book. I wasn't going to bother getting it replaced. Is there any way I can pay for Nats entry by internet transfer?
Same question for class association membership?

Cheers,

I have several forms to put into the above list, will do while I am on holiday next week, as to electronic tranfer, you will need to liase with Roger Brown, he can then forward the payment is recieved to me to get your name on the list.
