Ivan
you have been to one all ready, Frensham counts as at least the Midlands if the frozen North starts at the M4.

Hi Gordon,
Thanks for reply Leigh and Lowton was good. Season is well underway and its all a bit quiet. We will miss you at POSH. Will you be doing Ceeksea or is Shoreham our next encounter ?

I'd quite like to do a midland series, for me its local and not too far to travel, it may also encourage more phantoms from round these parts to travel further and become more active  :)

Hi Olly,
Great, lets bring the Midlands trophy south !! Looked for your Weymouth results with no joy. But seen how well Simon and Ben done in the Osprey. How did you and any other Phantoms get on. Shoreham was good fun and looking forward to Downs next...

Ivan,
I didn't go to Weymouth. I haven't done anything open wise for a while due to the new arrival

Thats understandable. Gareth and his wife do baby/toddler clothes called The bonnie mob. Top end, designed by his wife Tracy and they have a sale on I just noticed. 9pm now so you better get some sleep while you can !!

Olly, which Midlands events are you going to do? I'm considering Bartley and, depending on accommodation costs and forecast etc, maybe Grafham.

Good luck at Llandudno. I can't make Shustoke as we are off to sunny Spain for our first 'family' holiday.
Hopefully see you at Grafham then !

In the absence of a Midland Series, Shustoke is holding a stand-alone open on Sunday September 24th which is a great opportunity for midland sailors who want to try an open without travelling too far to come and challenge the club sailors.
Should be 6 Shustoke boats out so all visitors be be guaranteed a good race.
We're 5 minutes from the M6 / M42 so quick and easy for Southern and Northern sailors to add an extra autumn race in.
More information can be seen on the website. http://www.shustokesailingclub.co.uk/events/open-meetings/phantom-open
