From memory when i checked previously:-

Calais to Medemblik 260ish miles

Oostende to Medemblik 200ish miles - Ramsgate Oostende ferry is by far cheapest

Hook of holland to Medemblik 65ish miles

If you factor in petrol costs etc and the extra driving and the extra nights b&b theres hardly any benifit in doing the Dover/ Ramsgate crossing

4-5 hours in a car or having a warm up beer on the boat and a nights sleep in a cabin - worth the few extra £ if you ask me  ;D

Having travelled to Mblick as a day crossing and night crossing from Harwich and the slog from Ostend, I would definately recommend the Harwich route. If anyone going wants to cut costs I have access to a trailer for 6 boats and room in my Landrover for 3 extra people.
Contact me if interested

John,

How much is a spot on your trailer, might save a bit on getting boat across, rather than towing behind the Motorhome...

Thanks Titch  :-*

John
Ferry crossing + fuel divided by 6, should be quite reasonable.

Is there any way we might co-ordinate trailer spaces and boats to go?

I know that we have a number of double combis in the fleet and before committing to single trailer space bookings on the ferry should we not try to double up up or more.
