Stewartby Training & Club Handicap Open - April 3 & 4
« on: March 23, 2010, 05:31:54 PM »

On Easter Sunday (4th April) we are hosting our annual Spring Open Handicap and everyone is welcome to come along (phantoms or anything else...). The format is 3 races, 2 to count. First Race at 11.15, competitor briefing in the clubhouse at 10.30.

Its been confirmed that we will be off the 1030 handicap so it would be great to see loads of you all there.

To encourage people to attend we will be offering phantom training on the Saturday (3rd) with use of the club and hopefully the bar available in the evening.

There is ample camping on site and a Premier Inn about a mile away.

Please can those intending to come reply to this post or drop me a pm so that we can make sure that we put on a good day.

Please let Andy, Titch or myself know if you have any queries.

Regards

Ian

As Easter Sunday is apparently a sacred family day, I can only be about for the Saturday only.  :-[  I am however happy to provide rescue cover, mark laying, committee boat etc so that we can get as many boats on the water as possible.

Currently, there is no particular plan for the training at this stage, so please feel free to suggest areas that you wish to practice.

It would be good to see as many people as possible at both the training and/or the open handicap event.

Cheers.
