Eastern Series 2010 (cobweb cleaner) Alton Water
« on: March 10, 2010, 08:01:44 PM »

Dear All

Previously I had posted information about the first event of the Eastern Series 2010 which is just a few days away.

The Pub is booked.
The TV ordered.
The race track prepared.
The prizes are in stock.

Its now just up to you all to dust down the hickers and make you way to sunny Suffolk for a days training on the Saturday and a 4 race series on the Sunday (20th/21st March). ;D

Following various discussions at the dinghy show it is looking like we will have a great turnout. In order to assist with arrangements it would be most helpful if you intend to attend to add to this thread so that I might add you to the list. If you have any particular training wishes this would also be helpful so that we can see if we are able to oblige. Many thanks for your assistance. ::)

Hi Windy,
I checked out availability at the premier inn yesterday & there are no rooms for Saturday. Other option is their one across the Orwell which is getting a bit distant.
I may have to revise plan to sleep in car/tent, or just come down for Sunday if it`s still freezing!
Cheers,
James.

Will be there Sunday only now. I thought it may be warm enough for a night in the Van but I am having second thoughts.

I hoping for some wind though, long old trip for us Ogston Boys!
