Gentlemen,

Unfortunately I won't be attending Alton  :( My knee has completely had it and it looks as though I'm going to have to sell my pride and joy. I've been told it's not going to get better.

Thats terrible news Ben, but don't be too hasty, its worth speaking to a couple of people as I know there are a few in the class who have suffered from knee problems in the past but are still sailing the boat, Clive and maxibuddah to name a couple.

Hi,

I'm hoping to be there for both days although will have to go home between so won't be around Sat night.

Looking forward to finally learning how to sail my boat !! Any help with tuning would be greatly appreciated too. I've changed just about every setting since I've had it and still can't get it to go any faster  :'(

Thanks,

Nev

Nev,

Before or as soon as you arrive, set your boat up to the P&B (Simon Childs) settings for Spreader Length and angle, rig tension and rake. Mark the foresatay for the rig tension off settings too. Then leave it alone :o

Sail the boat till you feel at home and then sail it flat ;) I mean Flat ;)

don't worry about pointing, that comes with a fast and flat boat ;) ;)

C U on Sunday for more guidance :D

To Windy and all the Alton crew a big thank you for a phantasic (as allways) event including comedy, luck, misfortune and sorrow. Race 2 was quite challanging also!

Now I remember what I have missed over the winter.

See you at Up Yours and thanks again.
