The online entry for the Leigh and Lowton Northern/Grand Prix event is now open.

Hi Everyone,

Is anyone actually planning on attending this event?
We're less than a week away and so far I'll be driving for 7 hours to float around on my own........

Please could people indicate as t whether they will be going otherwise we will have to bin the event.

You won't be alone I'll be there coming up from Shoreham. I should be recovered from Frensham by then hopefully as I am in a bad way today, but it was fun at the time. I'm rubbish inland so will need some pointers...

I had indicated on another thread that I would be attending this event, but sadly an illness in the family means I can no longer make it.
Have fun folks, hope to make it in 2017.

I'll be there from the North (logistics permitting). Can any kind local soul tell me if camping at the club is feasible? The instructions say it is weather-dependent, and I suspect I'll get my quota of swimming in on Saturday afternoon...

I am having trouble with paying online as the Web payment system wont let me fill in fields correctly ie. home club. Can I pay £20 on Saturday ?

Hi Ivan,

I wouldn't worry about having the correct fields (I think if your club is not in the list, just choose other). Just name and sail number most important.

First Grand Prix event tomorrow. Anyone else coming up with me from the south, anyone from east or midlands ? Any north or home boats coming to race ?
