Guys
As a result of the Ovington event being cancelled we have decided that enough events have been sailed to calculate the results as they stand.
Congratulations go to John Wayling for winning the Spinlock & Selden Grand Pix Series 2015. The top 15 are as follows and a full list will be available on the Home Page soon.
1st John Wayling
2nd Matt House
3rd Olly Hopkins
4th Ian Sullivan
5th Pete Shuttleworth
6th Phil Longley
7th Jon Cooper
8th Ian Miller
9th Jonathan Pulfer
10th Will Gulliver
11th Mike Tustin
12th Adam Perry
13th Stewart Jarvis
14th Warren Martin
15th Alex Morrison
The top 5 receive Spinlock backpacks and kneepads, 6 to 10 receive Spinlock backpacks and 11 to 15 have won Spinlock kneepads.
Through the year entry at events has accumulated Travellers Points which will go towards a raffle for a new Selden carbon oval boom. It has been decided that the remaining prizes we have from P&B and North Sails will also be drawn. The draw will take place in the next week or so once I've worked out how to rig it.
The magic number of Travellers Points has been six which if you reached that number you qualified for a Spinlock Grand Prix buoyancy aid. The cancelled event meant that a few people were to miss out. We have decided to award the buoyancy aids to those that pre entered and were on 4 points so the following will receive theirs (somehow...)
Chris Biglin
Richard Sims
Jim Hopton
Chris Roberts
Jon Shaw
Tom Whittingham
Graham Dale Jones
Many thanks to everybody who took part as the Series which I think was a success increasing participation at events and raising the number of people willing to travel.
A similar programme will be run next year and the dates will be released as soon as we can
Best wishes
Ian

Is there any news on when the prizes are being given out?
-
I handed responsibility over to the new regime some time ago....
-
I thought you had Ian.
I was just wondering who I need to speak to as I can give tickle and Jon there stuff aswell
-
To save on postage, come to an event and you can pick them up in person.....
;)
Everything is sitting in the back of Pete Shuttleworth's Scooby, if you can catch it you can have it, or PM Pete and myself with your address and we will see what we can do
-
I'll speak to Pete then.

Does anyone have a Large Spinlock Grand Prix buoyancy aid that they would be willing to swap for an Extra Large?
Pete, look forward to getting the kneepads!

Youll have to wait until you pay for the sail you had measured at Creeksea.............
