Following the launch of the Phantom Grand Prix Series last month the Class Association can announce the final date as being 4 October at Bartley Sailing Club in the Midlands.
The series comprises six GP’s held throughout the country as well as the Inland and National Championships. The results at the Minnis Bay Nationals and the best three additional events will determine the Series winner.
Large fleets are expected at each event and they complement the existing regional open programme so you should expect close racing, a friendly and helpful fleet along with a great social. The events are aimed at providing close racing and will attract a mix of abilities so will suit if you are new to the fleet or a seasoned campaigner.
If you’re looking for close racing and a top social visit the following for more
We look forward to seeing you at an event during the year.
Cheers

it's that time of year when we invite you all to come to bartley for the open, clean water, great wind ,easy to get to only just off the M5 with easy access from the M1, M42, M6, A14 etc and now part of the GP series as well
if you need anything let me know and i will try to help
what more could you want
ps if you want to get into your other halves good books birmingham has great shops and we could arrange a taxi to the local station which is only a 15 min jouney into town it may just sway your attendance

The usual contingent from Northampton are going.
Should be a great day on the water so if you haven't done a GP yet this year make a hole in your diary.

Providing Hopkins can get 1418 there and I can get a sail in time I'm in :-)
-
Nick
I'm sure we can find a sail for you
See you there
Ian
-
As NOrmans pa I can lend him the slow one I used at the nationals
-
That sail is supersonic Olivers, I seem to remember you (nearly) winning the last race of the nationals, well you would have done if you had not panicked on being in the lead and having no idea where you were going! But you still nailed a 5th! :-)
-
I'm actually very good just been hustling for years to lure people into a false sense of being good then one day I will win everything
-
Bit like Will then .............. :-)
-
Olly
Sorry mate Slow's correct, look at Paington you got into the lead, panicked and led unsuspecting Steve to the wrong buoy.
Gordon
maybe I should be the new slow but with the monicker in light and reaching conditions

Anyone know if there is camping available at the club on Saturday night? Given I'm due to be driving a rescue boat at North Berwick on the Saturday I might need to explore halfway options in any event, to avoid being mistaken for a burglar...
-

Fieldhouse Lane
Birmingham

Titch :-*

Mr Slow,
If you do take up Titch's kind offer, speak to Ian as he's popping there on Saturday and may be able to take it on his double trailer for a beer or two........
