Hi All,
I’m in the process of restoring 626. Following plenty of stripping, half a sheet of marine ply and some enthusiastic carpentry with a couple of litres of epoxy and plenty of glass tape, I should be ready for fitting soon-ish
It came with all the fittings removed (in a bag) do any of you guys have:
i Photos of your Mk1 layouts?
ii Know if the rudder should be raked at all? The blade was in the wrong way when I picked it up but sets with rake when re-installed the right way.
iii Offer any advice as to if I should have Lower shrouds? It’s got rod rigged diamond rigged spreaders on what I believe to be a needle spar.

I’m not expecting to race it anywhere near its handicap, but would like it to work as well as possible.
