Hi new to the class having bought phantom 957 I'm in middle of part refurb and wondered if anyone used to own her racing history etc and if anyone can help with continuous control lines upgrade advice really

Hi and welcome,
You could try doing it yourself with Marlow ropes and watch their excellent videos or I can recommend James Jarvie of JJ Boats to do it for you.
Hope you get sorted and can get to some open meetings where you will find plenty of help and advice. You will learn much faster with Phantom fleet racing and have a laugh !!
