Hi all

I've just bought Phantom 177 "Poltergeist" which I would guess is an early 1970's boat.  She appears to have been professionally built and is still in good condition having been very little sailed and kept garaged by the previous owner who bought her circa 1985.  Unfortunately he didn't know anything about her previous history, so could anyone tell me who built her and when, or anything else about her past?

I don't know who built the boat, or when, but in April 1978 it was owned by -
M.S.Martin

Thanks, that confirms she was Solent based because I've also just found a race course scribbled in pencil on one of the hatch covers which includes Beaulieu Pylon and W Lepe as marks.  Given the previous owner bought her in 1985 and was Devon based it seems probable that the course was written on there quite a long time ago!

Anyone else got any info?
