Post by: len1103 on February 26, 2018, 09:50:05 AM
Hello Have rescued 1103 from a boatpark in Cornwall this weekend. Needs new Gunwhales and drying out but generally solid. Does anyone know anything about her. Len

Hope you enjoy her! I had 1239 which was a home built woody built 2005/06, so guess yours must be c2000/2001??

Hi Len,

1103 was home built by my father. I'm not sure on the exact year it was built, but it was built in his garage near Crewkerne in Somerset and spent it's early years at Sutton Bingham near Yeovil. I believe it now has a different rig as the original spars were anodised black. I may be able to get hold of some build photo's if you are interested, although this was sometime ago now, and they have moved to France and back since then!

If you have any particular questions feel free to ask and I'll pass them on.

Hi Rich
Thanks for your reply. Sorry I havn't got back to you sooner. Any photos and info would be great. She needs a bit of drying out and new gunwhales but apart from that is in good nic. She is beautifully built and I intend sailing her at Restronguet SC once she is Varnished and painted. Really looking forward to getting her on the water. Cheers Len 07833890271

By the way I could do with a new sail suitable for a tin rig Superspar mast if you hear of any going. Cheers Len
