Title: Phantom 1026 history?

I am going to collect my first Phantom, number 1026, next week.  I just wondered if anyone can tell me anything about it's history?  I know it has not been on the  water for some time after a problem with a new coat of varnish reacting with the original varnish destroyed all of the topside water proofing.  The deck and all of inside has been affected, the varnish is cracked and de-laminated.
Can anyone tell me about the boat before this happened?  Who built it?  When it was built? Has it been raced? Any success? Anything else?

1026  "The Phantom Menace " was built in July 99 by Ron Chivers and weighed in at 78 KG !!!
