Lee on Solent Open meeting
« on: May 30, 2018, 02:35:49 PM »

Hi All
I was asked at Northampton about accommodation in Lee.
B&B'S (not listed in any order)
Leeward House 02392556090
Appletree Cottage 02392551176
 Westwind Guest House 02392552550
Walnut Tree 02392425100
Milvil Corner 02392553489
Manor House 02392421683
Chester Lodge 02393550894

There is some camping but with nofacilities at the back of the old clubhouse and there is Kingfisher Caravan Park about 1/2 mile up the road easy on a bike as it is flat and all cycle track.

Cheers
Gordon

Sorry Gordon,

Try as I might, I couldn't arrange my holiday to avoid the clash.

Roll on next year...

As in Technical Fernando has managed to 3d print a Phantom as 1st prize. So be there next weekend if you want a chance to win this special prize. image was to big to attach.

Glad it was not this weekend just gone as with 30knot gusts it might have been a little tricky!

Hi All

I am looking forward to joining the Southern Travellers fray this coming weekend. I am sorry that I have not joined in earlier, but the western venues and the cancellation of Shoreham was the reason for this. Gordon and the team did a great job last year, so lets hope for some decent wind on Saturday & Sunday.

HI Chris
Be good to see you, I know what you mean about the events this year without Shoreham.
Weather for our Solstice evening series has been great so far but the weekend looks a little more challenging of the light wind variety.
