Add POSH to the series ?
«

As Shoreham is cancelled in May I intend adding POSH 12th -13th unless there are any sensible objections ?
There was interest expressed at Bowmoor at the weekend,1 its a well run event in a nice area...

I didn’t do it last year but do they not just use triangle sausage?

Hi
Last Year was a trapezoid with outer or inner loops depending on class.

I think the famous Jonny Guns won it last year in the handicap fleet? No?
Looks good Ivan and good place to sail so looking forward to it, thank you.

He did indeed, winning all but one race outright and over the water.

Not received any objections so I have added POSH 12th-14th of May to the series, making up for loss of Shoreham. There will be a limit on entries so get it in early if you intend going, already some entered...

Typical a local event and I've got to be in Dubai the following day so won't be able to go

Hi Southern phantoms
We seem to be a few missing on the entry sheet, are you just missing or not going? Ivan, Steve Popple, Tickle, Cabbage etc

Nor me Gordon but will be at all the others. Weather looks good, you should have a good one.
Keep us posted and see you at Lee on Solent with a nice F4 - F5 !!

Phantom results are
1459 Alistair Morley
1454 Simon Hawkes
1446 Nick Orman
1419 Paul Birbeck
1357 Bruce Hattersley
1430 Gordon Kingston
1343 Olly Hopkins
1167 Adrian Abbs
Alistair also managed 2nd overall out of 70 boats and racing snake Simon did manage to beat him in one race in the light and shifty conditions.
Alistair and Bruce seem to work on Cornish time, had the first race on Sunday not been abandoned they would have missed it and were last to arrive on Saturday.
