Bowmoor open 14th April

The bowmoor open is coming up soon.

Count me in I really enjoyed last year apart from my result. So watch out people I aim to do better !!
My first sail since Burghfield this weekend, hope I still got what little I had...

Has anyone woken up from winter hibernation yet, the sun's shining where is everybody ?
Time to get get stuck into the new seasons racing now, are any Phantom sailors coming to challenge me and Olly next week at Bowmoor ?
It would be helpful to the club to know so anyone intending to go so please post here.
With Shoreham in May now cancelled due to harbour flood defences works running over we won't have another meeting in the south until Lee on Solent in June !! Any new phantom sailor's come along and learn fast, all levels and racing within races in a friendly fleet...

Nice forecast including a bit of sun maybe for Saturday.
My knees have finally recovered from first club racing a fortnight ago and am eager to improve on last years last place.
Boat packed up ready for battle of Bowmoor, no more Mr. Nice guy...
Any Salcombe boats coming out to play ?

Back home with a well deserved beer after an excellent days racing at Bowmoor. I thoroughly enjoyed today and that's unusual for me on a lake.
Thanks Olly, Bowmoor helpers and race officer.
And well done Alister from Salcombe on a great win and all competitors for the close racing. But mostly my old banger of a car for making it there and back !!
