Hi all,
Not ideal with the clash in March but this is what I have so far.

2018 draft series so far is looking as follows
March 17th Island Barn joint with East Region
March 17th Wimbleball
April 14th Bowmoor
May 12th-13th POSH
May 19th-20th Shoreham CANCELLED
June 23rd-24th Lee on Solent
July 7th-8th Weymouth
July 14th-15th Downs
October 6th-7th Salcombe
November 10th Burghfield

As last year 4 to count. Could add Weymouth regatta when I find out when it is and Lyme Regis regatta thats usually in August I belive.
As for March, unfortunate but they are both one day events and at the extremes of the area for travelling...

Truncheons out to sort the March problem, one of them has to move on sir. Perhaps they don't talk anymore!
Joking apart both would end up with very low attendance not a good advert for the class.

Apart from the fact Island barn is a JOINT Eastern and Southern event, potentially making this the better chance of an increased entry

I like Island Barn, and would love to support Nick, but at that time of year the proximity of Wimbleball gets it hands down. Plus its the Beastie the following day I assume?

Before we publish the 2018 events list are there any clubs that wanted to host an event that haven't put themselves forward?

In particular are there any more in the Midlands that would like to host an event?

Weymouth Dinghy Regatta is a MUST and just checking dates now so will revert but early July.
