Weymouth Dinghy Regatta - 8th & 9th July '17
« on: May 11, 2017, 04:02:57 PM »

I have been advised that supported classes, of which the Phantoms are one, will be able to enter in advance of the General handicap fleet.

A link should appear on the Regatta webpage which will take you to Sailracer in the next day or so.
You can go straight to Sailracer and enter as of now.

General handicap entries will open on 22nd May, so we have around 10 days head start. Entries fill up fast, and are usually limited to 120 or so boats, therefore it will be a good idea to make best use of the time!

See you there.

I heard on sunday that the 100 had been reached from the club. I guess the system hasn't caught up yet, or they hadn't paid maybe but had entered??

Hi James
Send an email to the club and ask if they can put you on a waiting list and you never know they just might take your entry.
Cabbage/Slow
are we going to be based at Castle cove or Weymouth sc?
I am going Friday afternoon and want to drop the boat off.
Regards

Hi Gordon,

According to the NoR all boats are based at CC.
Lets hope we finally get some sensible breeze for a southern event this year !!

Hi Rich
Couldnt agree more, at least with Portland harbour even if its blowing dogs off chains we should be able to sail.

Hi Ivan
Just looked at the list it 11 Phantoms and an Int Canoe, not sure we should allow him in our fleet.
I hope a few more Phantoms can be squeezed in. Still only saying 93 entries.

Is there anybody going to Weymouth that could weigh my boat and measure my sail, so I could get a certificate.

Saw the note from Spooky - I'd also like sail measurement if anyone can do this at Weymouth? Can't wait though for that clean 12 knots of breeze (just dreaming)!

Hi Gents
Subject to having somewhere dry and out he breeze, I can measure sails, but not boats.
Will stick the tape etc in.
