Lee On Solent 6th training 7th open event
« on: April 26, 2017, 09:37:51 AM »

Hi All
The plan is for Simon Hawkes to run training on Saturday afternoon as we have club stuff using all ribs untill 1pm can we say boats rigged for 1.30?
Sunday 4 races back to back from the club line 10.30 first start.
Saturday Night the plan is all back to my place for a few drinks and Wendy will cook a couple of choices of food.
Please bring your own booze.
So who is coming.
Regards
Gordon

Hi Gordon
I'm planning to come to Lee on Solent, with the aim of picking up some tips from Simon on Saturday and doing the open Sunday.

See you Saturday
Cheers

Andy who, I remember some bloke called Andy at the shoreham nationals  who done well that weekend. We have proved where the fastest phantom region is so he might be worried as the weekend approaches and a quivering wreck by Sunday !!!

I have spoken with another ex National Champ who is hoping to attend. A literary award one month, training superstars the next :: ::) . Sadly I think it is the venue and chance of a few sociable beers that may be the attraction! Looking good though. Should be fun.

Hi Gordon
I will be joining you for the Open on Sunday. Current plans are to drop off the boat at some time Saturday afternoon, but then to disappear off to Poole to visit elderly parents. Will be back on Sunday morning for some proper sailing on the sea.

With all this activity at the front of the fleet, is there going to be anyone at the back to keep me company??

Hi Gordon,

Are boat and car parking arrangements as per previous years?
i.e. turn round in the car park and drive down the grass? Unhitch boat near signal station, unpack, then park car on roadside?

There are also potentially another 1 or 2 from SBSC / CCSC.
