Hi all,

Start will not be before 11am and I will be there early and raring to go.
2 races back to back in the morning hot lunch and back out for one race in the afternoon.
Forecast is for some nice reaches and place swapping.

Big fright of Phantoms heading south west Saturday...

Hi Ivan
Do you know if anyone is attending who would be able to measure a sail for me on the Saturday morning?
Not expecting any prizes so lunchtime or after race 3 might do if acceptable to the class
Thanks

Hi all. Sorry about the Nor. Tried to post it but failed.
Really hoping the weather moderates a bit to make it a pleasure rather than a trial. We want people to enjoy themselves and happy to modify things on the day to make it work.
Large TV or projector will be present to those that would like to watch the rugby.
That being the case a late finish would not be anticipated.
Still plenty of people coming hopefully. Any questions ,just contact me.

Hi Neil
Are you only allowed out with just enough funds in your pocket like lunch money when you were at school ;D
Ask Mummy to give you a bit extra just in case the tuck shop has some treats.
Joking apart How much is it for Both days?
Cheers

Hello sailors!
The Phantom open will cost £15. This includes a hot meal at lunch time which we hope will be between races two and three.
There will be a stunning array of prizes up for grabs, some of which may contain alcohol😳
On Sunday the cost for single handlers is £8 and double handlers are £12. Food is available on the Sunday but not included in the entry fee.
The wind appears to be moderating a bit which is good. The fact it is showing a steady Westerly all weekend is good. This offers considerable protection from sustained strong winds, although there maybe the occasional resultant gust to deal with. It will keep you in your toes.
The lake is pretty well full and we are looking forward to seeing you all.

Hi All
1430 still loaded from aborted trip to Burghfield so dont know whats under the cover. Sail measuring forms printed BUT after the last twice, I wont do measuring in the rain, gails or freezing cold and my sail has to get done this time as well.
Lets hope its constant rather than stupid gusts from strange angles.
just seen watch so thats on. Rudders, sail and compass to find.

I know its a slightly large lake Gordon, but honestly you will be able to find your way around it without the compass
