Hoping to go for the Open but not sure what overnight options are available for a campervan. Not sure about the Beastie either

Hi Graham
The campsite adjacent to the Club is open according to the website. The Beastie can be a delight on a pleasant day and there have been several in the past. Most Phantoms join in making almost a second day of class racing.
Due to the nature of the lake boats that accelerate quickly such as the phantom have historically done well at this event.

Great start to our season already. I know it's quite a long way for Chris Shelton but I bet your thinking about it Chris ? Burfield Frensham and Maidenhead boys won't want to miss this season opener either!! Not to far from Plymouth Neil and cabinet makers art if work permits ?
Any new Phantom sailors near by don't be shy you'll love it...

Even the sun will shine 8)

Ivan,

The Beastie is in my calendar, should be back from work just in time.  So planning to attend at the moment.

Hope you get back extra early Neil and can make the open too. By the sound of Simons plans for Saturday night Beastie could be interesting...
I have an Optimum Time Watch for you that you won at Burghfield prize giving raffle. See you there

I'd love to come along and show you how not to do it Ivan, but I ain't got a phantom. I will hopefully share a beer though over the rugby and generally get in your way at the Beastie.

Not yet cleared for a pass for 2 days but i'm working on it as we speak.

hi

My reply wasn't that clear, it'll be both or neither; but planning on both.  Looking in to options for staying overnight maybe even camping if the forecast is reasonable.
