I have tried to avoid clashes with GP series and to space them out a bit. Only Frensham is a week before a GP event but it is  one day only and an early warm up for 16-17 April - Leigh & Lowton. The reason I have listed possible 2 discards if 6 sailed is if we add another event in the autumn. If an event is blown off we could also add another suitable one ie. should it blow a gale for downs we could then go to lyme regis regatta the following week.
Our first event should suit those that like one day and those that like 2 day events as we have our open on the sat then you can stay and do the beastie on sunday. Very nice club Wimbleball with big picture windows in the club house over looking the lake  so that my wife was able to watch her sea sailor struggle round last year!!
Also trying to get a bit of sponsorship.
New at all this so please be kind...

A pleasure jon.
First one fast approaching at Wimbleball. It was really good last year a great club in a lovely area. Hope to see you there as we had soon close racing at the nationals !!

Ivan - might be worth having a chat with Simon Hawkes (if you haven't already) as the Beastie is on 20th March think he was trying to motivate a few to make it a 2 day event and join in.
