Nick,
Bough Beech are holding an open and it needs an "area" home. The Eastern Empire doesn't wish to tread on Southern toes. I'll forward details but rather hope someone will pick up this thread and get in touch with you.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have been asked to forward this regarding next years planned open (9/3/2013)
Dear all,
Blaze, Contender & Phantom sailors, if you could circulate the below via your forums & associations to achieve maximum coverage I'd be grateful.
(The Contender Ass' have nominated the event as the 2nd Travellers trophy event of the year so should mean a reasonable number )
I would have attached the NoR & SI's for this one day 3 class event but 'IT' problems this end have made life difficult...once sorted I'll send them out in a couple of weeks. The objective is to have a good days racing with class starts for each of these similar classes of boats (they are raced in the Bough Beech handicap class club races) and to attract 10 of each class, more of course would be a bonus.
The entry fee including lunch to speed up lunch time turn round time will be 14 quid.
We should have a full reservoir to ourselves, I've a good race officer lined up and the galley are briefed to feed us...in fact lunch is included in the entry fee and the galley will be open from 08:30hrs for any one wanting a bacon butty up to a full breakfast, briefing at 10:00 & 1st start 11:00. Feedback from my Inland Championships at Rutland was for 4 shorter races, so 2 pre & 2 post lunch, 3 to count ... weather permitting.
