Although I didn't get in as much sailing as I had hoped to this weekend, I still had a cracking time  :) So many thanks to LOSSC.

I see there are a few photos available now on www.eddiemays.com.

Cheers,

Rich.

Hi Lurch, great to hear from you.  Not only was I awake at the end,    this time ;) I was witness to one of our bretheren taking a greater  than platonic interest in the bar staff, and when rebuffed, making friends with the last remaining member of the Solution mob,  female, the rest of the lightweights had baled early ;D
Nice to see some good pictures although the breeze seemed stronger than shown in most of them.
See you all soon in Lyme :)

Hi Springer
the photos from Brian Starr are only from Sunday but Eddie Mays are from Saturday and some look windy. It was only 22knts not really windy we could still bear away and gybe. cant wait for Lyme and hoping for similar breeze.
Do we need our passports to go that far west?

Wow ....  loads of great phots ...  many thanks to Brian.  I like the start sequence ones ... although a bit perturbed that when I thought I hit the pin right on the gun, there seem to be a few boats well over the line  ???.... there was one race when I didn't hear the start gun as it was a little quiet, but then i thought i was only 3-4 seconds late.

Jeremy - I think you mean this start sequence where your at the pin, however in this photo you can see the solution class flag being pulled up and phantom flag halfway down which is right on our start. Interesting stuff!!

yup ...  well spotted, you are bang on.  There was one when I was a bit late as I didn't hear then hoot (not sure if this is that one though  :-\), but this is really interesting to show the difference being a bit behind the line (and perhaps not up to full speed) makes.

HiJeremy
What was also worrying was my ability as informed by a friend on the commite boat was to pick the wrong end of the line consistently. So we were both late and at the wrong end in this one.
Note who was at the other end on time, Andy, Nick Simon etc.
